From a High School Initiative to a Registered NPO
Youth For Future began in 2021 as a raw, student-led project facing complex global challenges. Through our growth into an officially registered NPO under the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, we realized that the path to early changemaking is far too rare in Japan. We built our specialized RISE and GIP divisions to bridge this gap, giving young learners a clear starting point to build real-world leadership and providing underrepresented youth with systemic, lifelong community support networks.
Past Events
We recently wrapped up our very first co-hosted overnight cultural exchange camp, held in partnership with a local kodomo shokudo and several wonderful organizations.
In total, more than 25 children from elementary school to high school joined the camp, together with volunteers from nearly a dozen different countries. For many of the children, this was their first time interacting so closely with people from such diverse cultural backgrounds, offering a powerful opportunity to expand their perspectives and horizons.
